We're Tyler and Bria Atkins, owners and operators of The Crappie Store, Crappie Rentals, and Riverside Cabins on the Sydenham all located at 102 Metcalfe St., Dresden, ON. 

Our journey began in 2016 when we purchased an old hardware store in the heart of Dresden, that happened to be situated along the banks of the Sydenham River.  Our vision was to transform the property into a full scale hunting and fishing outfitter store, as well as a tourism hub of Chatham-Kent creating a new gateway to the river.

Since then The Crappie Store has become established as an official hunting & fishing license issuer for the Ministry of Natural Resources of Ontario.  We're also licensed to sell firearms; restricted, non-restricted, and consignment. Our store products include firearms & ammunition, hunting equipment, fishing tackle & gear, in addition to live bait such as worms and minnows(seasonally available).

Crappie Rentals is our canoe/kayak/SUP rental shop that we operate all summer long.  Launch directly behind the store, or load up and bring our boats to your preferred destination. 

Our newest venture is our Air BnB rental added the summer of 2021, "Riverside Cabins on the Sydenham".  Here we offer a cozy barn-style lofted cabin camp site. It sleeps up to 6 people and is nestled on the riverbank with your own private dock and canoe for your stay.  Stay and play on the Sydenham river!
